A team of Crime Branch, Farrukhnagar, Gurugram has arrested four people, for being allegedly involved in firing at Radhy Sweets

Chandigarh, May 8 –

A team of Crime Branch, Farrukhnagar, Gurugram has arrested four people, for being allegedly involved in firing at Radhy Sweets, Farrukhnagar on April 17, 2018. The accused fired gunshots at the behest of gangster Sandeep Duma to create terror and had also demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh on April 24.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police Department said that the accused arrested have been identified as Rahul, Vijay alias Pankaj and Mannu, all hails from Meerut of Uttar Pradesh and Paramjit a native of Gurugram.

On a tip off, a police team acted swiftly and arrested Rahul, Vijay and Mannu. All three accused were produced in the court. While Mannu were sent in judicial custody, Rahul and Vijay were sent on Police remand. The name of another accused, Paramjit, was revealed during the police remand, who was also arrested from his village Judaula in Gurugram.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that they opened fire at Radhy sweets at the behest of gangster Sandeep Duma on April 17 just to create fear and also demanded ransom of Rs50 lakh on April 24.

of the four accused, he said that three were taken on police remand, from which weapons and motorcycles used in the incident would be recovered soon. Efforts are on to arrest main accused Sandeep Duma and his accomplices.
